Paywall rules for Crazy Wall

· Subscription

It’s taken a while to nail down the paywall rules for Crazy Wall. Would you believe that pricing, like with so many other products, is the hardest part of the work? Price too high and you chase people away. Price too low and you look cheap.

Here’s what I’ve decided (finally!). I wanted the rules to respect the fun you can have with the app while keeping the price as low as I can.

14-Day free trial, then $8.99 per year thereafter.

Crazy Wall costs $8.99 a year. That gets you unlimited pins, and your walls sync through iCloud to your iPhone, iPad and Mac. One subscription covers all three, and with Family Sharing it covers the household too.

Try it free for 14 days. You get everything during the trial. If you don’t cancel, it becomes $8.99 a year on day 15. If you do cancel, no hard feelings: Crazy Wall keeps working on the free tier.

The free tier is free forever. You get up to 30 pins on each device, with no iCloud sync. Pins are your bookmarks, places and index cards. Make as many walls as you like.

Nothing ever gets deleted. If your subscription ends and you’re over 30 pins, you keep every one of them. You can still open, edit, move and export them all. You just can’t add new pins until you’re back under 30, or until you subscribe again.

I think the price is fair. I mean, it’s less than a coffee! And it unlocks the real power of Crazy Wall: keeping your walls with you wherever you go, and pinning things to them along the way.

Let’s go crazy.
